new york in a nutshell
I recently went to New York for a week. I felt like I was living in a Taylor Swift song.
Here’s everything you need to know about the city:
There is art everywhere.
There is food (and drink!) everywhere.
Favorite foods: Birthday truffles at Momofuku Milk Bar, Mulberry Street Bar in Little Italy, Five Napkin Burger's chicken tacos, the best damn chocolate chip cookies ever at Culture Espresso, and everything about Dylan's Candy Bar
And most importantly, there is shopping everywhere.
To be totally honest, I love New York as a tourist. I never tire of it. And while there were a lot of really exciting networking and potential opportunities going on while I was there, I don't know whether or not I would still love the city as much if I lived there year-round. I worry that it would lose its charm as I started to pound the pavement and face the real world. I guess we'll just have to find out what the future holds. . .
